Pumpkins
Picking out pumpkins this year was not as exciting as it's been in the past. There were no fun little pumpkin patchs close by so we just went to the local nursery to buy some over priced pumpkins. They were nice and big and the kids liked them so I guess all is good. Next year we are definitely finding a pumpkin patch to go to.

Don't feel so bad... really! One of my daycare kids came the other day and she was thrilled to have gotten her pumpkin the night before! She told me all about her pumpkin and how excited she was (she's 4)I said "oh Kennedy good honey, did you go to the pumpkin patch with your mommy?" She looked at me funny, I said "where did you get your pumpkin?" She smiled and proudly said "at the gas station!" Yes! I laughed!
Hahahaha!! Yes I guess we are one step up from the grocery store and the gas station! Too funny. Thanks guys!
A lot of people go to the Dallas Arboretum for a "pumpkin patch" but this year I wanted more of the real deal. So, yeah, we traveled for an hour and found one. We should make a day out of it next year together!
