No longer a tween now a teen!

It's official, Jacob is finally a teenager! WOOT, WOOT!

Yesterday mark a very important day for Jacob. He turned 13. He has been axniously awaiting this day forEVER! I took him shopping and as we were walking into the mall I looked over at him, so proud that he was hitting the mall when I noticed he was just a little bit taller than me. WOW! Can't believe it. Happy Birthday Jake! You made it, you're officially a teenager!

Ok so I have always, I mean ALWAYS taken a ton of pictures. It doesn't matter where we go I try to always remember to bring my camera and try to snap a few pictures. This of course does not always sit well with my kids or even Dave for that matter. I had to laugh at Amber one day, we were in Shepplers Western Store and I was happily snapping away and she said "do we HAVE to take pictures where ever we go"? UM......YES! Just think had I not bought my camera look at what I would have missed

My new love!

I LOVE my new camera! It takes the best pictures and I have had so much fun experimenting with it. I have decided that I want to be a photographer and I take a picture of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! It has become my constant companion.

How can Amber really be a senior

How can this be that Amber will be a senior next year?? Where has all that time gone? She has really become such a beautiful girl, sorry can't bring myself to say young lady...will make me too old! I've been going thru pictures lately, putting all my millions of negs onto cd's and have been taking many trips down memory lane. Wasn't it just last week when I took all those baby pictures of her? Now look at her...she is all grown up and gorgeous!

Horse Camp

Taylor and Hunter were lucky enough last week to attend a horse camp. They learned all about horses, basic care and riding. Each morning they had to go out to the pasture and lead them in and brush them so they could be saddled. Jake went a few mornings with us since he knew the ladies son who runs the camp. They happen to be in our church ward. Friday was the big day, they went on a 30 minute trail ride. After the trail ride Jake and his friends were able to go and do their own trail ride. I of course took tons of pictures. It was so fun to see them and it gave me yet another chance to use my AWESOME new camera...thanks Dave! The kids are already looking forward to next summer so they can do it again.
